Cara Cooper has been Franke at Seaside’s registered dietitian since July 2016. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in human nutrition from Winthrop University. Cara worked as a clinical dietitian in many facets covering the NICU, pediatrics, critical care and geriatric floors prior to joining the Franke team. Her passion is nutrition education which she enjoys fulfilling in Franke’s Keil Healthcare Center.
Josh is a Maryland native, but has been residing in Charleston for the past seven years. Josh graduated from Allegany College of Maryland with his AAS degree in Occupational Therapy in 2012 and started here at Franke at Seaside in 2014. Along with the staff at Franke, Josh takes pride in assisting all residents to live a safe, independent and successful life within the community.
Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, time on the water, and simply enjoying the beautiful climate here in South Carolina.
Tan is a native of Charleston, with a long family history in Mount Pleasant. She has been a nurse for 22 years, working in the acute care setting and long term care. She attended the University of South Carolina majoring in business administration and received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from South University. Her nursing career has been dedicated to helping people in their most vulnerable and unexpected moments. As a nurse leader, Tan feels it is her responsibility to influence and improve the healthcare practice environment. Nursing is her calling and she cannot imagine doing anything else.
Tan is married with six children and one grandchild. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling and watching her children participate in sports. She is also very active in her community and church.

Laurie Russell is a Registered Nurse. She has worked in long-term care her entire nursing career (37 years) and started working for Franke in 2012. She loves long-term care because it is like being a family.
She is originally from Vermont but moved to South Carolina in 1980 and adapted like she was born here. When not working she likes to spend time with her family, especially her great nieces and nephews. She takes lots of pictures and scrapbooks those memories.
